What is a fantasy football trade value chart?
A trade value chart puts every fantasy-relevant player on a single numeric scale so you can compare players across positions at a glance. Instead of arguing whether a WR1 is “worth” a pair of RB2s, you add up the numbers on each side and see which package is stronger. Win With Odds places every player on a normalized 0–10,000 scale, so the values are directly comparable whether you’re trading a quarterback, running back, wide receiver, or tight end.
Our chart is different from most because the underlying numbers come from Vegas player props rather than hand-set opinions. Sportsbooks price player props with real money on the line, so their lines reflect an efficient, up-to-date market view of each player’s expected output. How to read the values
Every value expresses a player’s value over replacement — how much he outscores the best freely available player at his position given your roster slots and number of teams. That’s why a 30-point edge at a scarce position (say, a starting QB in Superflex) is worth more than the same 30-point edge at a deep position. A few practical rules of thumb:
- Bigger number = more valuable. Compare totals, not player counts. Two solid starters can easily outweigh one star.
- Positional scarcity is already baked in. You don’t need to mentally “bump” quarterbacks or tight ends — the scale accounts for how hard each position is to replace in your specific league.
- Tune it to your league. The values shift with your scoring (PPR, Half-PPR, TE-premium, passing-TD value) and roster settings, so always use a chart generated for your league.
How to evaluate a trade
Add up the value on each side of the deal. If the totals are close, the trade is roughly fair; the side getting the single best player often wins in practice because one elite player is easier to start every week than two good ones (the “consolidation” premium). Then apply context the raw numbers can’t see: your team’s needs, bye weeks, injury risk, and whether you’re contending or rebuilding.
